Can you Change?

What do you do when God wants you to change? Can you change? Can you move according to the how He leads and guides?

Proverbs 25:1-5, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, to search out a matter is the glory of kings. As the heavens are high and the earth is deep, so the hearts of kings are unsearchable. Remove the dross from the silver, and a silversmith can produce a vessel; remove wicked officials from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness.”

Proverbs 24:1-2, “It is in the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him. A person may think their own ways are right but the Lord weighs the heart.”

God wants change in, through and from us but the question remains, can we change? God said I will do a new thing, yet He also said there is nothing new under the sun...so what does that mean??

God will create change in what or where already exists so that His purpose can be revealed. Again, the question is can you and I change? The change that God requires and desires can only be done and established through his righteousness. Again, can you and I change?

Change is inevitable. Nothing and no one stays the same. We all must and will change whether we like it or not, whether we want it or not. The question remains, can you change?

I challenge you and myself alike to assess ourselves to see if we are stuck and stagnant refusing or resisting change. Change is a good thing and change brings great things to our lives but in order to obtain it we must change. Let’s together be the change that God desires and the world needs to see!
